Winter Walks

Make Your Winter-rific!  Saturday Ravine Walks

Through to March, Toronto Walking will be running Saturday morning Winter Walks. Winter is a great season to explore Toronto Ravines. The best way to beat the blues is to bundle up and get some fresh air while trekking through this city’s sublime urban forests.

Walk 1 :   Saturday January 13th
Vale of Avoca to the Evergreen Brickworks

Time: 10 am- noon (roughly 2 hours with a stop in between)
There is snow in the forecast so come prepared. Dress to stay warm. Bring icers or traction devices if you have them or wear boots with good grip.  The challenge is mostly going to be the weather for this one, the paths are fairly flat.
Cost: $20 (cash only – to be paid at the beginning of the walk) – also note that for frequent walkers, once you pay for 2 hikes you get the next one free
Please register by e-mailing torontowalkinginfo@gmail.com
Starting point – Davisville Subway Station  (we will meet just inside the entrance on Yonge and Chaplin)
End point – Rosedale Subway Station
***You will be asked to sign a waiver at time of payment

Going forward, details of walks will be posted on Wednesday nights for the coming Saturday
